How does porcelain facings treatment works
We do not have long waiting lists at the CDC clinic for facings in Eindhoven. You can make an intake appointment today. If you feel comfortable about the intake, we gladly devise a treatment plan and estimate. Our care consultant will schedule the appointments with you to start the treatment. The placement of porcelain facings requires two appointments.

Preparation and deciding on the color of the facings
Sometimes, a thin layer of the tooth needs to be ground off, making enough room for the facing. Without this step, the tooth may become too thick. We make an impression after that. Next, we create and place a temporary emergency denture. You never leave our clinic toothless. Together, we determine the color of your permanent facings with a color sample. The facings will be made in the dental laboratory in that exact color.

Fitting and final placement of the facings
We remove the temporary denture, after which the porcelain facings will be placed loosely over your teeth. The dentist checks the bite, the color, and the fit. If everything is technically in order and you are satisfied, the facings will be permanently placed with a strong adhesive layer.
If something is not yet right, we will adjust the facings immediately in the laboratory. On average, this appointment takes one hour. Only when everything is in order, and you are satisfied do we finish up. Now you can enjoy your beautiful smile!
