Teeth whitening at your dental specialist for a bright white smile!

Have your teeth become discolored over the years, and would you like to have a beautiful white smile again? You can have your teeth whitened professionally. Choose a safe method and get your teeth bleached at the dentist. For a better and more durable bleaching treatment result, go to your experienced specialists.

Bleaching teeth to gain bright white teeth

No matter how much you focus on dental care, your teeth and tooth enamel wear down over the years. This also causes your teeth to discolor and become more yellow over time. Does the color of your teeth bother you, and would you like to have that white smile again? You can! Have your teeth bleached by CDC, the cosmetic dentist of Brainport Region, Eindhoven.

If you have healthy gums and teeth without fillings, inlays, facings, or crowns, you can have your teeth whitened without any problems. We will make sure you have beautiful white teeth again in no time, using the professional CDC bleaching treatment.

A better and more durable result at a tooth whitening clinic

You can choose from many bleaching methods nowadays, also for at home. These methods are often cheaper than at a dental clinic. If you do it yourself, you save the costs for a specialist to whiten your teeth. However, it is our experience that the whitening product used at home is less effective. This is because dental whitening treatments for home use contain a lower dosage of active ingredients than the product used in a dental clinic. Moreover, if you do not use it properly, it can be harmful to your gums.

If you want to feel assured of choosing a safe, thorough, and effective treatment, opt to have your teeth bleached by the dentist and refrain from doing it yourself. Based on a proper diagnosis (x-rays and an oral examination), the dentist will advise whether a bleaching treatment is an option for you during the intake.

Procedure to whiten teeth

At CDC, we make two appointments for whitening your teeth. The first appointment is for cleaning your teeth, and the second appointment is for the actual bleaching treatment. In the 4-step plan below, we explain what you can expect.

Step 1 | Pre-treatment teeth bleaching

  • Before the treatment, you will receive a clear explanation of what teeth whitening entails and you will discuss your expectations with the dentist.
  • The dentist checks the health of yout teeth and gums.
  • The current color is determined from a color swatch and the new color is determined.
  • If your front teeth have fillings, crowns or veneers, they can be replaced in the desired color.r.
  • The prevention assistant will clean your teeth and remove any plaque or tartar that may be present.
  • Your teeth are polished.

Step 2 | Treatment preparations

  • Your lips are moistened.
  • A mouth spreader is inserted to properly protect the soft tissues such as the lips and gums.
  • To ensure that the gums are not damaged, a gel is applied to the gums and cured with a lamp.
  • To also protect your eyes during the treatment, you will receive protective glasses against the light of the LED lamp.

Step 3 | Whitening treatment

  • The whitening gel is applied to your teeth.
  • The LED lamp is placed above your mouth for about 8 minutes.
  • The next coat of whitening gel is applied.
  • This process is repeated a total of 7 times.
  • The whitening gel is removed and your teeth are cleaned.
  • The mouth spreader and the protective gel on your gums are removed.

Step 4 | Teeth bleaching results

  • The result is viewed with the color swatch.
  • You will receive information about the long-term preservation of the result of the teeth whitening.
  • If necessary, you can continue the whitening treatment at home.

Now you can show those pearly whites, so smile!
